move user from dovecot to vm-Pop3d

I wanna transfer account from a server with directadmin (using dovecot) to a new one with directadmin (using vm-pop3d), is possible?

the mail users will have problems with usernames and passwords or not?

In a word, no.

At least not by any automated method.

vm-pop3d (mbox) -> dovecot (Maildir) is a one-way trip.

Why not upgrade the server with vm-pop3d?
