Moving users between servers

We finally moved all remaining users from our first server to a new one. It took some work however. Making backups, deleting users, moving backups to new server, importing backups. Moving resellers is a bit more difficult, but we got that done too.

It would however been easier if there was a 'move user to other server' (like moving user between resellers) when multi server setup is used.

Anyway, we did come across a problem. User's data from roundcube (like address book) isn't moved over, and neither is the imap data (like in uebimiau/tmp) which is quite a pain for the customer when there's 4 years of data in there. It's a good thing we didn't scrap the old server yet.

I've moved a lot of servers and frankly haven't encountered the Roundcube issue you mentioned.

As for Uebi - it's horrible, I never install it.

As for the pain of moving/restoring, the Admin backup/restore function makes that really easy actually - you can restore backups directly from the remote server, through the control panel of the new server. It's quicker than scp'ing them over too!

Anyone ever find a solution to this? I just moved a bunch of domains from one DA server to another. Now users of Roundcube are complaining that all their address books are missing. I assume that their settings are also missing.
