Hi

To start with, all my best wishes for this new year...

I am facing a problem i have not found answers yet (there are a few posts in these forums but i am not sure it is the right solution to my problem)

I have 2 servers running :
Server 1 with DA on it which is called ns1.domain.fr ip: xx.xx.xx.167, on which 50 domains have been installed and are running... This first server had for few weeks a secondary ns named ns3.domain.fr configured on it, with a secondary ip xx.xx.xx.108 to accept domains on 2 different nameservers. Yes i know the two nameservers were pointing on the same server which is not good...
I have a new server non DA, which runs just a sql and bind service, which i want that it takes in charge the secondary ns for the domains created on the da server... this server will run the ns2.domain.fr, But i'd like that things get automated... (when i create a new zone on the DA server, it also creates a new slave zone on the external non DA server)

How do i do this ??? Is there something planned by DA to cope with automated external slave zone files ???

Thks for your help

The DA solution requires both nameservers run DA.

If you want a solution that doesn't require the slave server runs DA, then search these forums for master2slave which I wrote and put into the public domain.
