Mysql problem after change hostname!!!

before my server hostname is aaa.com , and DA working fine , after i change that to host.aaa.com , and then restart mysql, got follow problem:

MySQL manager or server PID file could not be found![FAILED]
Starting MySQL/etc/init.d/mysqld: line 151: kill: (24066) - No such process
[FAILED]

i change it back without any problem , so wanna help here, how to do after change hostname!

Hope this helps:

1. Login to DirectAdmin as the admin user.
2. Click on the Administrator Settings link.
3. Change the value in the "Server's Hostname" field to whatever you want the hostname to be.
4. Click the Save button at the bottom to save your changes.

Stop mysql first. Then change the hostname. But do it before DA start mysql again. Then start mysql. The mysql pid is based on the hostname.

I have change the hostname to host.aaa.com ,after that i want add a other domain in AD CP , but show me :

The provided domain name matches your hostname.The domain must not match your hosme.

so how can i Add New User for aaa.com. and then can upload the website files to server.

You don't. You add domains to users not users to domains. You can add the domain to the admin account or create another user and add it to their account.

1------ i use admin account login to AD CP

2------i create a reseller

3------i login as reseller then try to add a new user and match this aaa.com

but same problem !

4------ok , i add a new user, then login as new user and under new user Create Domain aaa.com , same problem will be show u "Cannot Create Domain"

????????

You lost me on step one. I don't know what AD CP is.

Login as admin and Show All Users. Do you see aaa.com already added there?

aaa.com is also a currently working domain so I am not sure what the problem is.

yes, first time when i did not change the hostnamed , then i login as admin and Show All Users. i see aaa.com already added there, but i check if this aaa.com can upload some data(website) to server, but did not found ,that why i ask about .

Eg, i create a reseller named reseller1 and match bbb.com , then i can login with reseller1 and upload data(website) to server for domain bbb.com.

but if hostname is aaa.com then can not upload this data to server , eaxctly have not path to upload.....
