Mysql Socket Issue

Where is the file that directadmin reads to tell it where the mysql socket location is and if anyone says /usr/local/directadmin/conf/mysql.conf or ect/my.csf I will shoot u coz it don't work when I change it lol....need to know as it is defaulting to /tmp/mysql.sock' which is a ball ache to work with

My understanding is that it should be in your working my.cnf file, wherever that is. Go ahead and shoot me if you wish .

Please do not ask over and over again; duplicate posts cause a lot of effort to delete, a lot f people will read them just because they're new, and they're really not. And they really won't get you a better answer, because if no one knows, then no one knows.

My answer seems to be the ame as yours, to check the working my.cnf file. So I'm not sur what you mean.

But I also replied to ask the poster not to post multile posts.
