question
I want to take a site from one server to the other
each have different name servers, without having to get the client to change name servers, can I and how would I create a name server on the new server so that if I backup and restore the site to the new server I can use the existing name servers?

Backup and restore the site normally. Optionally delete the DNS zone on the new server, and when you delete the site on the old server just rebuild the DNS zone there.

As you grow you may want to run two (or more) slave nameservers as your main nameservers, and run your nameservers on your DirectAdmin boxes as hidden masters. That way you can move your hosted domains among your servers without your client ever having to change nameservers.
