Nameserver query

Hi,
I want to use my own nameserver for my server that I bought from 1 company. Suppose I have a domain xyz.com can I use ns1.xyz.com and ns2.xyz.com for that server.
Please help me.

Yes, as long as you know how to do all the settings properly.

Are those nameservers going to be running at (pointed to) your DA-powered server? Or somewhere else?

If somewhere else, then how are you going to get DNS set up each time a domain is added?

I want to register my own nameservers. I don't know what to do.
Do I have to creat an A Record from DNS Entry?

It is an Athlon Server, And I have 5IPs. xxx.xxx.xx.x1 to xxx.xxx.xx.x5

I'm nost sure what you mean.

Do you mean you're running DNS on a different system?

You need to have both A records for the nameserver name(s) pointing to the nameserver IP#, and you also need to register the nameserver with your registrar; how you do that depends on the registrar you use.

I solved my problem.
I have struggled to register my nameservers.
