Need a permanent solution: Email BSMTP 421 Errors

Someone remind me in a week (updating the thread will work) and if there are still no problems I'll get the fix into exim.

Hi everybody, I have a customer reporting this same issue and I just applied this "fix" to his server. Hope this is really a definitive fix :D
 
If it really was a fix I wouldnt see why it wouldnt of been already applied. That post was made in 2005?!?!?!
 
As far as I understand the problem arise only on busy mailservers. In fact it happens only on one of the many servers my customers have
 
tundasrl, please send me a link to the specific post with the fix so Ican see if there's anything I can add to the default exim.conf file.

Unfortunately nothing changed the customer still has the problem:

An error was detected while processing a file of BSMTP input.
  The error message was:
   
    421 Lost incoming connection
   
  The SMTP transaction started in line 0.
  The error was detected in line 3.
  0 previous messages were successfully processed.
  The rest of the batch was abandoned.
  421 Lost incoming connection
  Transaction started in line 0
  Error detected in line 3

I didn't find any.... it is so frustrating that a long-time and widespread issue like this has no solution... :(
 
Have you searched exim users mailing list? I have, and as of the last time i didn't see a workable solution, except to not use bsmtp.

Which means don't inject from SpamAssassin.

Unless I'm missing something.

Anyone else have any ideas?
