It's my understanding that UW-IMAP can be patched to support maildir. Is this possible with DA's uwimap distribution? Has anyone tried?
cPanel has a script for converting mbox to maildir. Which came as a surprise to me because it implies that cPanel's uwimap distribution is patched to support maildir format. Can somebody clarify this for me? And if it can be done in cPanel, why not DA?
I applaud anyone's attempts at installing a maildir IMAP daemon for DA. If people are having success with replacing or improving on DA's IMAP I would appreciate knowing more. For instance, ballyn's how-to for installing Courier IMAP -- is this working out?
