Need Settings for Outlook Express on DirectAdmin using Dovecot

One of my clients can't get Outlook Express set up to use email accounts from one of our servers. I don't have Windows so I can't test.

Does anyone have a known working configuration for Outlook Express to work on a standard DirectAdmin / Dovecot installation? Or must I set up an old Windows XP on an old laptop? Does Windows XP even have Outlook Express?

What problem are they facing? I dont see any difference between clients (on configuration i mean), can you privatly provide a temporany email with all data so i can do a test?
