Hi guys, i'm setup a new server
I already set my hostname and nameservers under Administrator settings - Server
But when i create a new domain, alwys it creates with sce58.net. NS ns1/2.server-156-202-25-20.da.direct. instead create it with ns1/ns2.sce58.net

What i'm doing wrong?
It's the first time that this happens to me, i have 10 servers with directadmin and it never happened me before.

Hello,

Update nameservers in DirectAdmin: Dashboard -> Administrator Settings -> Server Settings

Nothing, but probably you changed the hostname after installing directadmin or something went wrong.

You can change as @zEitEr shown above. However, most likely since the da.direct is still mentioned in the nameservers, I wonder if things went correct and everything is present.

Maybe it's good to check if your hostname SSL certificate is pointing to the correct hostname, to see if maybe some other things need to be adjusted too.

Hi friends, thanks for reply, in deed i changed the hostname after setup directadmin.
@zEitEr i already setup nameservers there, even before i made this post
Under Dashboard - Admin SSL - Server TLS Certificate, I see:
Key File Valid
Certificate File Valid
DirectAdmin Panel Over HTTPS Enabled
Automatic Certificates Enabled

Ohhh, there it is, i have changed those values to my right nameservers, deleted the domain, recreated it again, and it still creating the new domains with wrong nameservers.
I try to restart directadmin, tested again with no luck

Can you have a look in:
/usr/local/directadmin/data/users/admin/user.conf which nameservers are mentioned there?

You entered the correct nameservers both on server settings (first) and then Name Servers (second)?
Did it create the nameserver entry's (A and NS records) in your nameserver domain?

Ohh, on that file there are the wrong values, i replaced them, deleted the domain, recreated it, and now are the right values.
What is the cause for that? (to avoid commit them on my next server)
Thanks for reply

I don't know what could have caused it. Some actions take a minute before DA does them in the taskqueue. Maybe something was deleted and added too quickly after each other.
But that's just me guessing.

You're welcome.

Users once created have a fixed set of nameservers in their settings/packages:

scroll down to NS1 and NS2

You removed a domain, but not a user. That's the reason.
