ive read that post but it just confused me... ive tryed all the test they made.. but.. sometimes login page was ok but when i click on login doesnt work.. and sometimes not all field was removed...

should u help me a bit on remove all field except user and password and put italian like default language?

PS... when i select italian as language nothing change, when i login is still in english and ive to go to option menu and set italian there, then client is translated...

any idea?

smtalk did you read my post about subfolders? any idea? does it work for you? can you see mail in your sent, spam boxes?
 
Everyone says it is great? does anyone actually have a working installation? seriously has anyone tested the trash folder to see if it works?
 
Did you actually test it before saying it was fixed?

it no longer creates the extra mailboxes but it definitely is not fixed here is the output from the atmail debug, I tested this on new and old accounts:

C: ATMAIL04 STATUS "Trash" (UNSEEN MESSAGES)

S: ATMAIL04 NO Mailbox doesn't exist: Trash

C: ATMAIL05 SELECT "Trash"

S: ATMAIL05 NO Mailbox doesn't exist: Trash

if you read this thread the developers openly admit that their implementation does not work with the current directory structure used by Directadmin's setup.


I really wish the DirectAdmin developers would take a closer look at this and let us know if it is something that could be changed on the directadmin side of how they do things or if we are stuck waiting on atmail to fix this....

Yes, I did. The one of described problems was that the message does not go to drafs when you click "save" or doesn't go to the sent folder when you click "send". On the system with Atmail 1.02 and Dovecot 1.1.2 I didn't have these problems.
 
I just upgraded to the latest dovecot still have the same effect, can you please show the output of ls -al on one of your Maildir directories? Also can you please show the output of your dovecot.conf file?


I want to try and pinpoint why this works for you and not me.
 
It was not my server. Client asked me to upgrade Atmail because he had the problems, I upgraded it and dovecot (dovecot.conf is latest that is on DA servers) and the problem was solved.
 
People can only help if they have the experience. Martynas has already written that he doesn't have access to a machine to help.

I'm in the process of getting atmail 1.03 working.

I'm having the same issue with the other folders not working (trash, sent).
But, those folders don't work for SquirrelMail either.

Maybe I should install IMAP?
 
@mail looks pretty sweet, I suspect some of our users might switch to it just like some our users switched from uebimiau to roundcube (me included). There's just 1 thing. Is there anything that lets you convert your roundcube adressbook (or squirrel/uebimiau) to @mail? Some people have an insane amount of entries there...
