hello i dont know where to post this

but i try here
i ve just receive my adress for my web site today
and i wanted to past my first home page
i m going to work in flash with swf file
but i dont know where i should paste my file
it s written that we need to go to the public_html directory to change the home page
i have done this and change the file to past my swf file
is that ok to do this or not

Yes, you replace the files in your /home/user/domains/exampledomain.com/public_html/ directory.

So if I'm understanding your question, yes it is alright to do that.
However this is not a DirectAdmin issue and I would suggest getting in contact with your hosting provider as they will be able to help you much better.

I just wanted to add that consortium will also need to remove the index.html file or replace it with one that calls his .swf file.

And to point out that I've moved this thread to the User Level Difficulties subforum, since that's where it belongs.

Additionally I've deleted the duplicate thread.
