New Personal PLUS license

Bringing up this topic a bit.
What is considered an "account"? Is it the same as a "user" or is this considered different?

Because of increasing costs, I'm considering moving away from my TransIP datacenter, where I have used DA from their datacenter license for many years.
I have about 43 users in my DA with about 53 domains. About half the domains are my own.
Besides 1 other client, I'm pretty much the only one who uses DA on the VPS.
So does this mean I have only 2 "accounts", or 43?

A Standard license is too costly for little money that is coming in. This is mostly a hobby-based setup.
I am hoping to be able to get a LITE license (Perhaps by losing a few domains), but I'm not sure how Account/Users are counted, and if I'm eligible for a LITE-account...

Can anyone shed some more info on this?

An account is what it always has been. A useraccount.
So 2 accounts means admin account and 1 extra account.

It's users or accounts or useraccounts, all the same. So 43 users is 43 accounts.
Be aware, personal plus only supports 20 domains. It's not clear to me if that is 20 domains per user (account) or 20 domains in total.

So with a Lite account, you have also to cutback in users (10 accounts is admin and 9 others) and cut back in domains, because max 50 domains. Also in this case I don't know if it's 50 domains in total or 50 per account. But my good gues it's in total.

Thanks Richard.
A lot of the domains I'm running could be moved/administered under my own account I guess, since their actual users never login into DA. But I think this might give issues with other things perhaps. Not yet sure about this.

Yep, you have to take that up with them. Other option is to convert 1 legacy lifetime license to moder full license. You have it then at 15/month. Bit more expensive than lite, but with all options and all new upgrades (like new OS and mariadb 10.11).
Downside is that there is no pause option. Not paying is loosing the discount.

Be careful when putting a lot of domains on one useraccount. I totally get it, to cut costs. But... If that one user get's hacked... all the sites belonging to that user must be considered hacked.

Understandable. I would mostlikely only put my own domains into one account.
The LITE license will be sufficient then.

EDIT: Ah no, it will not be sufficient I see.
