Just been moved over by hosting company from a CPanel set up to DA. Emails are up the creek and the company doesn't seem to want to do anything about it - or doesn't know how to!!

Can I have a nudge in the right direction please on this? What needs tweaking?

All sent emails on two hosted accounts go into receivers' spam boxes. Using Outlook to send POP mail I get an 'Internet Security Warning' on 'send', the message being

"The server you are connected to is using a security certificate that cannot be verified.

The target principal name is incorrect."

All emails worked fine on the old (CPanel) setup with no issues. I am also receiving a lot of spam now too..

Does this mean you are an end customer, not an admin or reseller? Because in that case you are at the wrong place.
This is a support forum for DA admins and resellers, not for end customers.
Mostly also because end customers do not have the required access and privileges to fix things and mostly things should be fixed system-wide.

As for the message "The target principal is incorrect" that mostly points to some SSL issue.

I had that in the past too, maybe the solution I found can help you too:

But you do need root SSH access. And at least admin access to the custombuild plugin GUI.
If you don't have that access, your host is the one to talk to anyway.

If they don't know how, they should be the one asking questions here. My advise: if they don't even know they should ask here, it's unprofessional and you should better look for a better hosting company.

Richard - thank you. I knew I was in the 'wrong place' but things were desperate!! Your advice noted long-term. I the meantime have managed to chanage the outbound SMTPs to a 'working' one.
