New VPS with directAdmin

Hi everyone,

I am new to DA and have run into a small config problem.

I bought a VPS with DA installed. What i got was a VPS with 1 IP set to the admin account, with one domain added.

I want to make this IP a shared server IP, but dont find either "shared" or "server" in the drop downlist on the IP managemtent page.

Reading this forum I found that i had to release this IP from all users, i tried but still cant remove the admin domain.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

I have a number of VPSes running fine with 1 IP + DA. Try creating a reseller...
I think you will see "Domain IP" where you can specify "shared IP".
