*Warning, i do run some adult blogs and mainstream, mainstream sites dont seem to be having this problem**

History of Problem:
About 2 weeks ago i created a new domain, i noticed a slight lag, but i use a random pic php script, and when i dont have the script fully set up there is a lag (since it is calling for image files and none are uploaded, etc). So i brushed off the speed and thought it was that. Then i created another domain, and noticed slow speed. I uploaded my sidebar images and the lag was still there. This caused me to look further, but honestly i am a noob and dont really know where to begin looking. My host is very very helpfull, but they are having a hard time locating the problem as well.

I was hoping somoene can check quickly look at the logs from yesterday/today and see if anything stands out that would cause an extreme lag in load.

Also, since i run alot of blogs, i use an php script called Blogs Organizer. What Blogs organizer does is creates the php pages and hosts them in a main directory (http://ibeatweightloss.com/bo/boblogs). Then uploads other php codes to the new domain and it points to the ibeatweightloss.com/bo/blogs directory...

example:
http://tastytara.realteenblogs.com/
is the same blog as
http://ibeatweightloss.com/bo/boblogs/blog35.php

Now notice the difference in load time....it looks like to me, the server is having a hard time resoliving itself?

I cant figure out why and need to know where to start looking, so im hoping someone has ran into a similiar problem....

I would love to chat about this, as it takes $ away from every day by having this horrible lag....

ICQ @ : 350203216 im on now if u need more info!

ANY HELP APPRECIATE IT!

I CAN EVEN PAY, IF NEEDED.

Both links are slow for me at the moment :) (not a very big difference)

damn really? must be my cache speeding it up...

im really stumped tho...

Sure blogs and other php-driven sites are going to load/run more slowly than static pages, and of course they're not going to be cached locally as static pages will be.

That said, if the problem is really one of local resolution then check the namesevers in your /etc/resolv.conf file, and make sure they can resolve your hostname, your domain names, and all other domain names (mine for example).

Also make sure you're not overloading your server.
