Newbie asks about forwarding

Hi,

I've just bought a domain (www.xxxxxx.com), but i have hosted the web files in another server, so I have to make a forwarding, havent it?


But, where I have to write in DirectAdmin the name of my bought domain, to connect them? Will i have to write just the name of the domain (www.xxxxxx.com), or something more?

If you're hosting the website on a different server why are you using DirectAdmin? Do you have a separate domain name for the site hosted on DirectAdmin, or do you want to host your current site on DirectAdmin? I'm a bit confused as to exactly what you're trying to do.
