Newbie: Domain registered at Cloudflare, how to set up DNS between DirectAdmin

Hi, haven't done this in several years. I can't get it to work. No outgoing email is working on my domain. I have a black warning triangle In front of the domain.
Lot of problem. After I set up Directadmin on my server. Ubuntu 24.04. I haven't touched any thing DNS setting on Directadmin DNS. I have only tried to change in Cloudflare. My DNS setting on Cloudflare is an A record that point to my domains IP address A www proxied in orange TTL is set to auto. And then I have an A record to my mail A. mail set to my domain IP address proxied in orange and auto in TTL.

The site working but right now I have this black warning triangle domain field. And when I try to send outgoing email nothing ends up in receivers mail inbox.
Any idea what I should do? Should I change the DNS in Directadmin DNS pointing to Cloudflare?

There are 2 things which you need for mail to work.
1.) When using Cloudlfare, the mail DNS records should not be proxied but set to DNS Only. This goes for mail, MX, smtp and so on.
2.) You require to have port 25 open incoming and outgoing, best is to doublecheck that for example to telnet to mail.directadmin.com on port 25. When you get a response then port 25 is open outgoing.

DNS in DA normally does not have to be changed.
