noob help needed

Hi all
as far as I read on DP help page, in the Account Manager section there should be a DNS manager option... but can't find it on my page : can you help ?

my goal is just to be able to check my actual dns, it seems I can't configure my ftp client and I'm starting to consider that somehow my note on paper about my DNS got screwed up ..(PW is fine, double checked on the panel and changed it once, just in case)

What is a DP help page? Or rather, what is DP?

The DNS manager is at the admin page. Or on user level, but only if your are not admin and your admin enabled it for you, then it should be here:
https://yourdomain.com:2222/CMD_DNS_CONTROL?domain=yourdomain.com

Are you an admin, reseller or an end customer?
 
Good. How did you solved it? It would be nice to share for others if they search for an answer to the same question. ;)
 
I had to use a specific link given by the provider rather than the usual ip address, that new procedure changed some time ago and I totally forgot: I guess it’s a common link for everyone, then you get re-directed based on you login credentials: wrote to hostrocket asking for help and they promptly replied, as usual
 
Oke, in that case I presume you're an end customer? This forum is for customers of the directadminpanel (buying or renting it). So next time you might best first ask your provider for support. ;)
 
Well, I have to say that the answer is really not clear to me: I am for sure a client of Hostrocket, and I used to access Cpanel to manage my website: I don’t know exactly when but cpanel was then substituted by directadmin: so since it’s clear that I’m using it and I have access to it: I am a directadmin customer? Or am i a user?
