not receiving mail in outlook

my accounts are not getting messages via pop3 (outlook express).
The mail is only readable via webmail.

All the settings are correct in outlook, it look's to the server but there are no new messages is what I se. I know there are several messages in the server.

Please, is there anyone who can tell what I am doing wrong.

Webmail (UebiMiau) is a pop3 client. Squirrelmail is an imap client. If your user can see an email in Webmail and doesn't move it to another folder, it stays in the inbox, and the client should be able to download it with any other pop client.

If your user reads email in Squirrelmail, and again, doesn't move it to another folder, it stays in the inbox and the client should be able to download it with any other pop client.

so it must be a problem with my settings, because in both squirimail and Ubimiau are the mails in their original folders.

I wil checq again.

Having similar problems

If i log into squirlmail I see 16 emails. if i log in with ubi, I see no emails. Outlook does not report errors, but does not find any email. I have not run any updates or installed anything on the server today.
 
Update

I updated both of my servers using the all in one script found here http://www.directadmin.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=12099

on Server1 I can login in with Uebi webmail and see a test message i sent. Squirrelmail gives me :

Error connecting to IMAP server: localhost.
111 : Connection refused

Connect with Outlook yields succfull email download.



Server2 (Different email account) Login with Uebi shows no email.

login to squirrel mail is successfull and shows many messages.
Connect with Outlook yields no emails and no errors.
