Hello,

I have a server with few sites.
All sites was on 1 shared IP under the one reseller.
For now I need to add SSL feature to one of my site. I do not want downtime to the site because this site is very important. So, I do not want to move the site to another IP.
I have ordered one additional IP to the server.
I decided to move all other sites to new IP. And I want main IP will be dedicated for my main site.

I have added IP. I assigned this IP to reseller and make it shared for the reseller. I moved secondary sites to this new IP.
My main site is only site on my old IP for now.
But I still unable to add SSL certificate, I still see message "You can only add a certificate if you own the ip you are using".
On admin level on "IP Management" page I see status of this IP is "server" and number of users is 1.

Is it possible to convert main server IP to dedicated IP for an account?

1) It would be easier to add SSL on the new IP, not the server IP.
The new IP can be set as "owned", but the server IP cannot be "owned". The server IP will always be shared.

2) However, if you still want to do it this way, you'd need to setup SSL for the main domain on the server IP using this guide:

3) But if you do it using option 1, above, you can move the main domain to the new IP without any downtime:
