ns1 & ns2 headache

I've recently moved to a new server provider and copied all the settings like for like and changing the ip's accordingly however my ns1 and ns2 are having issues.

I have the domain 1net1.co.uk on the server and setup the following

ns1.1net1.co.uk A 95.154.244.27
ns2.1net1.co.uk A 95.154.244.28

reseller/nameservers shows

95.154.244.27 free ns1.1net1.co.uk
95.154.244.28 free ns2.1net1.co.uk

nslookup

ns1.1net1.co.uk
Server: UnKnown
Address: 192.168.1.139

ns2.1net1.co.uk
Server: UnKnown
Address: 192.168.1.139

tracert 95.154.244.27
ns1.1net1.co.uk [95.154.244.27]

tracert 95.154.244.28
ns2.1net1.co.uk [95.154.244.28]

using network tools I got

Retrieving DNS records for 1net1.co.uk...

DNS servers
ns1.1net1.co.uk
ns2.1net1.co.uk
Query for DNS records for 1net1.co.uk failed: Address not available

Can somebody please tell me what i've missed.

Your nameservers can't be reached by their names, only by their IP#s. I can't tell why without further research while logged into your server; for that I'd charge. If interested in a commercial service from me, please email me. Others who post on these forums are available for help as well. If interested check the advertising forum.

I dunno why its not working then... just wait longer I guess. Check /var/log/messages for any dns errors.
 
The glue records seem fine, it is your own DNS that is not giving the IP addresses for your nameservers;

It should return the IP address.

queries for www.1net1.co.uk and 1net1.co.uk do work; so I guess you don't have A records for ns1/2.

Make sure you have this in the DNS control of 1net1.co.uk
ns1.1net1.co.uk. A 95.154.244.27
ns2.1net1.co.uk. A 95.154.244.28
