I need to upgrade the server. I am being quoted for the following spec. Does anyone have any opinions on this?
New Server:
CPU with 4 cores
4 GB RAM
SSD storage
CloudLinux OS
DirectAdmin installed and managed
I've had my existing VPS with this supplier for seven years, have had good experience with them. I'm not asking for any opinion on the basic price.
Existing VPS is 4 cores with 2 GB RAM.
Where my knowledge is limited, is about security. I've really tweaked ConfigServer over the years and been happy with that. Same with Spamassassin.
I'm being quoted an extra 22 euros a month for Cloudlinux Pro and Immunify 360. I would appreciate any comments on that combination.
Reading online leaves me a bit confused whether Cloudlinux Pro is any better for my small VPS than Cloudlinux OS.
