Hi,
while retrieving password (resend welcome email) for reseller or user, most of the time pass field shows : * irretrievable *. What should i do in this condition. ?

While creating reseller account, there is checkbox for DNS control. I have checked by checking/unchecking but not found any effect in reseller CP.

Also as admin can add/manage dns for domains, can we give the same rights to reseller ?

You can simply reset the password to a new, random password and send the new one to the user.

The DNS control option does indeed not affect the reseller panel, but it does give the reseller the ability to allow his/her own users to use the DNS control feature. If the reseller does not have it turned on, his/her users also can't have it enabled.

The way of editing DNS for administrators is not available to resellers, but by logging in as one of their users and then using DNS control they can still get the same effect, as long as DNS control is enabled for that account.

Excellent answer by JTE.

I just want to add that the limitation on passwords isn't DA's; it's in unix/linux.

The passwords are stored in a one-way encryption.
