Hi,

I am trying to install firestats on my website and DirectAdmin is giving me a headache...

What I've done is use the firestats installer which creates a folder in my public_html for firestats. Now I need to add an empty folder to the public_html/firestats folder but I don't seem to have permission for it

What I've noticed is that this folder shows:

firestats 4.86M 755 Protect | Rename | Copy | Reset Owner | Recursively Dec 10 12:40 2009 apache apache

So the UID is apache for this folder whereas the UID for all the other folders is my accountname.

I assume this is causing me not being able to create a new folder as I don't have any permissions for it.

What can I do to change that?

I've also tried to delete the firestats folder but I obviously don't have permission to do that :(

Any help would be much appreciated!
Thanks

So you want to reset the owner of the folder. Let's see what would do that? Maybe the Reset Owner link.

Sorry to be sarcastic but its a little obvious.

Fair enough, I don't have much experience with this so it's not obvious to me. It worked, so big thanks :)

Normally when I don't know a lot about stuff, I tend to avoid anything that says 'reset' :P
