I tried using what I thought was told to me for the port and host settings for an email account I tried to establish but on my email host software, it failed.

Please tell me what is wrong with this email configuration.

Also, is the ticketing system down? Has the ticketing system been removed? Is there a chat feature?

and the mail address due to spam. But he can't as new user (first new posts) so I will report it to ask it.

@wm.m.thompson This forum is in fact only intended for support to Directadmin license holders, so admins, not for hosting customers.
You should contact your host for support.

They can also look in their logs what exactly is going wrong. Maybe they use another authentication method, which is why we can't help you anyway. The host has all info required.

Please contact your host for support on this.

P.s. looking at the list... which @Active8 placed here... I would move my domain to a better host. ;)

Your mail, www and domain all seem to point to different IP addresses, and one looks like cpanel.

Sure you're trying to login on the correct server?

The password exposure was an accident. I did not read the lines carefully.

@Richard G am I correct in assuming that this means that interserver.net is a customer of Directadmin?

@sysdev I own the www and my hosting provider allows me to create email addresses. The port and hostnames don't seem to work when I use my local email client.

@Active8 I do not understand but I think you just gave me good information.
