Pointer not deleted...won't resolve to it's own account

I created domain1.com in User1, then pointed domian2.com to it.
Eventually I removed the pointer and added the domain to User1 as a full domain.
Then I renamed domain2.com to domain2.com.old planning to move it to another user....
Created user2 account for domain2.com and deleted domain2.com.old
Confused yet? DA is....

Still points to Domain1.com.
Domain2.com is not listed in pointers file for domain1.com.
It is also not listed in the httpconf file for user1.

Where else should I look...or should I change the dns to something else....then change back to my dns to see if it will repropogate.

It may or may not have helped, but I switched the DNS back to the old server, then back to the new DA server...and about 20 minutes later the domain was properly resolving.

All better now.
