Hi !

I have a little problem with emails.

Imagine that i receive an email from [email protected]

In my outlook (by example) i configure to keep mail on the server for 2 days after receive on my software, and so, i receive the emails on outlook. It's ok.

After, i connect to the webmail (squirrelmail or Ue, no difference). I see i have no more mail, so I disconnect.

I open Outlook, and the problem is ... that I receive second times the same email from [email protected]

Each time I connect to the webmail, i receive after, again, all emails present on the server ...

This may have been discussed before. It appears that your webmail is resetting the headers in the email so that Outlook no longer realizes it's been downloaded before.

I don't know that there's any way to solve the problem as long as one of the email clients is using POP.

If Outlook is set to use IMAP and your users only use Squirrelmail (which is an IMAP) client, then the problem shouldn't exist, but then there are other issues, because with IMAP all storage is server-based.

Ok, but i did'nt configure anything about the webmail, it's the DA installation :\

Vandal just wrote on another thread that this may be a problem with the specific imapd used by DirectAdmin; in which case it'd need to be brought up to the support folk.
