I'm finding Prefork preforms much better than Event, well, on a VM/VPS..... If I use Event, I see a hefty delay on first load of pages (TTFB?), while Prefork is instant...

* Sometimes it's fast, sometimes get a delay on Event.

Apache 2.4.27 and higher will not negotiate http2 with mpm_prefork. Please do not use mod_php or disable http2 in the directadmin.conf
Does this mean http2 is now an Event only thing?

As I understand - it relays to mod_php only. If You use cgi\fcgi\fpm - there is no limitations

"worker" MPM has no issues with HTTP/2 too. It's only a limitation of prefork.
