Pro Pack for DA purchased from reseller

Hi,
Tonight I've purchased a server and DirectAdmin through OVH, however I'm only seeing the ad graphic saying the Pro Pack is coming soon. Is it available with the license I've just purchased? If so, how do I activate the Pro Pack?
 
What's your License Type ?

See it on "Licensing / Update"

Propack, It's should be Retail License


External / LifeTime License, Must paid support for Propack

Sorry but OVH is a DirectAdmin reseller and there licenses will NOT include the Pro Pack as they are only be included in the licenses directly sold by DirectAdmin that offer support with the license. But @DirectAdmin Sales please correct me if I am wrong here.
 
My license type is Internal.

That seems an odd decision by DirectAdmin to only include Pro Pack from direct sales rather than through resellers. So how do I get Pro Pack then? Is there an upgrade option? If this is the case, one would think there would be an upgrade/buy-in option within the control panel itself.

No as said before the Pro Pack is only included in licenses directly bought from DirectAdmin themself.
And (For as far as I know) its not really odd that they do not include it in your case. Because as said before OVH is a reseller and thus they get a big discount on all licenses they register.

I think OVH may have internal lifetimes they use, although I am not sure. But if that is the case, they can extend the support for $ 199.00. I doubt they will do this, but who knows.

I think for a customer with an OVH VPS, and you want the Pro Pack, you could better get a lite or standard license from DA itself. Or, if you need the standard license becasue of the amount of accounts, you could consider the OVH DA license and a CloudLinux license, it may be cheaper in the end?

It's a bit of a mess if you ask me, all these different license types, prices, being able to get the Extended Support or not etc.
 
I think DirectAdmin will make Pro Pack avaliable for resellers as well but with a higher pricing, or that's what I read.
 
Fair enough - opinions aside, no pro pack for me.

Perhaps in the near-ish future DA may revise their plans with resellers to open the new features up to a wider audience.
