Problem assigning a ip address

Good afternoon all,
I am having a problem here and hope you can help mr figure it out. I just added 8 ip addresses to my server. No problem there they are coming up as free. I then go to add a user who needs a dedicated ip and it wont let me allocate one to him. it just shows the server shared ip. What am I missing? I am logged in as admin when i try to do this
 
You have to assign the IP#s to the reseller and then from the reseller to the user, before the user can use them.

so I would have to assign them to admin (it is the only reseller I have) and then from there assign them to a user. I just want to make sure I am doing this right.

As an aside note should I setup some resellers or can I do it just as admin? Curious.

I've never used the admin reseller account, but I believe that when you use it you do it the same way as you do any other reseller account.

Can anyone else verify?

Yes. Both reseller and user level work exactly the same under the admin account as they would if they were their own accounts (if that makes sense).

I'm still in the midst of moving to our new office. Expansion is wonderful, but I don't have my regular setup handy at all locations yet so I'm not able to log in an check this morning.

Yes, my support staff is, but I didn't want to bother anyone simply to verify something; it's a Sunday morning of a holiday weekend. Let 'em sleep in :) .

Me? No rest for the wicked, as they say; I'll be in the office within about an hour or two.
