Problems Downloading BackUp on User-Level

I recently attempted to run a back up from the user-level then download the file for offsite storage. The file that is 3.18G downloads in less than 2 seconds so I know this is not correct. Any suggestions on how I may download the file?

Maybe is there a better way to complete this download. I want to include databases and all accounts reseller and user-level.

You can shell into the server and look at the file. It should be a standard tarball and you should be able to use standard tar commands to look at it, and scp or ftp to move it elsewhere.
