proFTP & pureFTP, can they co-exist or ...

I made the change and tried it again and I still get this message when runnnig that line:

configure: error: libmysqlclient is needed for MySQL support


Also I tried to locate libmysqlclient and here is what I found:

[root@slb pure-ftpd-1.0.21]# locate libmysqlclient
/usr/lib/mysql/libmysqlclient.a
/usr/lib/mysql/libmysqlclient.la
/usr/lib/mysql/libmysqlclient_r.a
/usr/lib/mysql/libmysqlclient_r.la
