Hi,
I have Dedicated server for one of My Clients
DELL R410
2x Xeon E5620
16GB RAM 1333Mhz
2x 600GB SAS 15K RAID1
Server BW: 10MB/s
Clean Default DA Installation under CentOS 5.4 x64 with Exim

when My client send newsletter (5KB per mail), it sent in rate of 5000 Messages per Hour
When no other applications running on the server
Is this normal rate?
I think it is slow relative to the server Specification
And of course I would love to hear opinions on the "bottleneck" and what should improve to make it work faster...

Best Regards,
Star Network.

5000 Messages an hour is around 83 per minute.

Its possible that the receving e-mail servers are limiting how many connections they accept from you, such as (hotmail, yahoo, gmail, aol)
Do you see anything in your /var/log/exim/mainlog that might show messages being delayed or resent?
