"reboot" problem

New user here.

Used to doing simple restart of services in Cpanel and tried the same in Da's reboot command HOWEVER.

Now I have no access to my sites outside of SSH. No FTP , No HTTP. A hard reboot on my providers side yielded no new result.

Have sent a message to support but hard to say whether it was received as there is no confirmation email of receiving Sooo in the interim I figured I'll use it as a learning experience.

Anyone know the solution to this and why using a Da function would bring my sites to their knees?

Since you have SSH... check the logs (httpd, message, DA) Also might want to see if the services are set to start on reboot.

chkconfig --list httpd

This is a Red Hat and Fedora not sure about other linuxes.

DA shouldn't do that. In fact, DirectAdmin has a heartbeat monitor and automaticallly tries to restart any down services unless you've stopped themselves through your control panel.

If bclark94's suggestions don't help you might want to contact DirectAdmin support.

This also just happened to me yesterday, after a reboot, my directadmin control panel wont open, just a blank white page and just sits there. Though httpd is working, cause my sites load.

I did just install systat by yum, then i think DA CP wouldn't load, i removed it and still nothing after a reboot.

Also, I may have updated my DA CP to the same version before this.

You should log in through the shell and verify that DirectAdmin is running properly and there aren't any logged errors.

Then you'll need to contact DirectAdmin support.
