Hello Everybody

My system services:
DirectAdminRunning1.60.4
DovecotRunning2.3.10 (0da0eff44)
EximRunning4.93.0.4
ApacheRunning2.4.43
MySQLRunning5.5.62
NamedRunning9.11.4
NginxRunning1.17.9
phpInstalled5.6.40
php2Installed7.1.33
php3Installed7.2.29
php4Installed7.3.16
Pure-FTPdRunning1.0.49

I want to install MySQL 5.7 beside the current version 5.5

Before, I will be appreciated to receive advice and comments from who had that experience.
I worry about possible problems for old web host accounts that have to use MySQL 5.5
and new users how can select between two installed versions of 5.5 and 5.7?

Thanks in advance

There is no ready solution from DA to use few mysql versions.
Now You can just install manually second versions with preconfigured another paths/port/socket, then create databases and give credentials to users manually. But in Your case I see all PHP versions are fresh, so all projects not so old and must be compatible with Mysql 5.7
So You can upgrade it from 5.5 to 5.6, check all sites, than upgrade to 5.7 (make backup of all databases before each step)

phpInstalled5.6.40
I have websites that only work using php 5.6

can I safely downgrade from MySQL 5.6 to 5.5 after upgrading from 5.5 to 5.6?

No, you can't downgrade automatically (like upgrade works). You will need remove new mysql, install old version, recreate/restore all databаses from backups.
