Recovering deleted file

That's stupid but just in case...

I've deleted a file by mistake and I does'nt have any back up for that file.
So, I'm wondering if by any chance there could be a miraculous way to get it back.. ?!

You cant recover deleted files on unix.

Maybe I was'nt clear...
Or, it's because my english is'nt very good.
Or, maybe I'm lost...

I'm talking about a file that I have deleted through the files manager of my DirectAdmin panel.
O/S is Windows XP

chatwizrd was oversimplifying a bit, but generally it's hard to impossible to very expensive to restore a deleted file, and almost certainly impossible if you don't own the server, because you'd have to shut down the server immediately after the deletion and then use low-level tools to find it.

Since you don't own your server, by the time you contact your hosting provider it's generally too late to do that.
