Hi

proberply a simple question :)
I movwed to another server and when ik now go to my domain/squirrelmail i end up at the old server as it redirects to oldip/squirrelmail

domainame.com goes to the new server and dns is ok

i looked and grepped and searched but i cant find any reference to the old ip in vhost configs or httpd config, not default and not in custom..

confused as i dont understand how it can be that i still arive at the old ip.

Any sugestion?

Sometimes it may take awhile for any DNS changes to cycle through the internet. Have you deleted the domain on the old server?

yes :)

Yes i did and it resolves
the domain is texels.nl
old server ip starts with 78. new one with 79.

if i go to texels.nl i end up at the new ip if i go to texels.nl/squirrelmail i end up at the old ip

seems to be a redirect somwhere but i cant find it

DirectAdmin sets up webmail redirects by username and not by IP#. If yours are redirecting to an IP# it's not a standard DirectAdmin setup; someone must have changed it.

So all bets about standard locations are off.

Hi Jeff

I thought of this but assumed it had to do with suphp installed via custombuild.

Anyway.. I think i remember that i sas THE redirect entry once on THE old server in vhost conf.

But its not there anymore.

So at what place could this happen besides USSR https conf?

I don't have time to look for it right now, but it may be somewhere in the extras directory files.
