Hi, we have a server running with an SSL cert. However due to a lack of understanding and communication an individual here generated a new CSR, this means the certificate on the server is no longer working.

I still have the original CSR when we applied for the certificate, is there a file or a way I can edit to restore the old CSR instead of the new?

Regards,

.Joel

Alright, after digging further through these forums it seems when you request a CSR you also change the key file?

Is there a way to pull the files from a backup (I have backups of the accounts etc) and restore the CSR and key file? As the backups are quite large (140gb) I would rather do this than restore a whole backup.

Regards,

.Joel

You may be able to find a back up in /usr/local/directadmin/data/users/USERNAME/domains
