First off, I'm new to DirectAdmin so I appreciate all your help in advance.

We are running DirectAdmin v1.36.0 on an Apache Server. We had a versign SSL generated from a 1024bit CSR. We decided to upgrade to the EV SSL which requires you to generate a 2048bit CSR. When I generated the 2048bit CSR, DA automatically made a backup of our 1024bit key and now our SSL does not work. Is there a way to backup our 2048bit CSR and restore the 1024bit so that we can have SSL during the validation period from Verisign? I know apache can handle it, I just don't have a clue how to do it in DirectAdmin.

Thanks,
Cameron

Check to see if DirectAdmin has saved a copy of your old key (it may have the extension .old or .bak or something). You need to paste both your old private key and your old cert into DirectAdmin and save it.

HOWWEVER: IMPORTANT:

Be sure to save your new key before you do so, as you'll need to paste your new private key and your new Cert in, when you get the new cert.

I believe the Verisign EV SSL, unlike other Verisign Certificates, requires a CA Root Certificate; if so you'll need to paste that in as well.
