Roundcube Filter

Currently using SquirrelMail and looking at RoundCube. With SM users can create filters to move mail automatically to certain folders. Is there an easy way to do this with RC as well?

Roundcube with Siev/pigeonhole are supported by Custombuild 2.x. With this you can create in Roundcube any kind of filters.

Is it simple to install this? How is it done with Custombuild?

cd /usr/local/directadmin/custombuild
./build update
./build set pigeonhole yes
./build pigeonhole
./build dovecot
./build dovecot_conf
./build roundcube

Still not seeing any options to filter messages in Roundcube.

You should have in your settings now a submenu called Filters.

Not seeing it. The custombuild steps seemed to go fine. I restarted Dovecot and Apache. Anything else I need to restart?

Make sure you've got no custom configs for roundcube in /usr/local/directadmin/custombuild/roundcube/ if you do then make sure to update them accordingly.

What does this mean from exim mainlog:

R=virtual_user defer (-30): transport "dovecot_lmtp_udp" not found in virtual_user router

Cannot receive email now.

It means that your exim configs and probably dovecot configs are not consistent.

I have a custom exim config. How can remove pigeon hole etc. and just stick too Squirrelmail. By removing "transport = dovecot_lmtp_udp" back too "transport = virtual_localdelivery" it works again I just want to make sure.

But how do I get Roundcude to stop thinking it has filters available? When I click on that I get an error.

"An error occurred! Unable to connect to server."

You need to set pigeonhole to no in options.conf and re-build roundcube and dovecot and dovecot_conf
