Hi, I just switched from apache to nginx on a server, all good, except that webmail.domain.com doesn't work, I get a 403 Forbidden nginx error, however domain.com/roundcube works. Any ideas?

That is not something default with directadmin. You must of set it up yourself.
You will have to figure out how to make it work with nginx.

I made modifications using that link on all my apache servers so clients can use the sub domain for webmail.domain.com.
Shame it doesn't work on Nginx as well, but if anyone knows how to get this to work for Nginx, that would be great.
