Rspamd activate in exim but ...

Thanks to @zEitEr for this feedback.

I have access, however in admin, in reseller access is user, I have no access, logical?

I was in MailCow before and when there was a suspicious message, users had the choice to put it in the junk mail and send a signal to MailCow to mean that the message was considered as spam, is it the case with this configuration?

Hello
Just a question, it is better to have this (below) that handles spam, because since I have activated this, it is not a worry for me, for my customers is future it would be disturbing, that the spam folder is "empty":

  • SpamBlocker 4.5.9+ (exim.conf)
  • EasySpamFighter 1.19+

If a spammer is not in an RBL list then sometimes Spamassassin can detect spam due to certain content.
I don't know exactly how Rspamd works.

These days spammers also use SPF to be able to pass filters, but that makes it more easy to block them too.
So at a certain point, spam will always pass and it's to the receiver in that case, to report it as spam. Using Spamcop is one of the best methods for hosting company's as far as I know.

I have a question, how to recognize as spammer when you are not in the RBL lists, do you have an answer to that?
@zEitEr @Richard G

If you can answer that, you'll probably be an easy hire for someone. It's both a philosophical and technical question, and it never has a correct answer. It's kind of like asking "How do I beat the other team in my favorite sport?" The answer is never the same, and being good at it requires years of commitment to the game.

And even more: if I read a subject of an email landed in my INBOX and I can be deadly sure see it's SPAM. The same subject might be legit for other businesses and individuals, and here my antispam rules won't work. Things become harder if a subject is written in a language I can't even read. Thus I don't even try to guess which email will be SPAM for others. But I can configure software to let users mark arrived emails as SPAM whenever they feel like.

I don't know if it's the heat that sends the message, but I'm good in RBL but "Poor" at talosintelligence, I even asked my datacenter provider who advised me to change hostname, nothing to do.

but I'm good in RBL but "Poor" at talosintelligence
Changing hostname won't help. It's like respect. You don't get instantly respect from people, you have to earn that.
Same with Talos. You have to build a reputation. The more mail is send from your system, the better your reputation gets if you don't get into spam lists or at least take goed measures to come out again.

We also started at poor, we don't have a big mail flow and now we are neutral for many years. Neutral is good enough for company's with little mail flow from their servers.

ha well, because I have another server which is poor to send, and it, it is neutral and functioning in DA.

Everyone has it's own system to put a server in. Microsoft often begins to set new ip's in bad reputation to begin with.
It all takes time.

I´d suggest to fasten things at MS up, by SNDS registering https://sendersupport.olc.protection.outlook.com/snds/
This, together with being registered as mass sender with several domains (own, customer domains) at GMX and GMail does a nice leap forward for sender mail reputation. Then add 1 or 2 free public whitelists for your IP, and it should help. And fore sure, at least appear on RBLs, educate your customers, think about email forwarding to put off.

I'm already a long time member of (amongst others) SNDS and JMRP. It's a good advice.
It doesn't help a lot if you're -not- a mass sender. But it does help when you get in trouble with MS and to build a better reputation in time too.

You mean be sure to NOT appear on RBL's. :D
Can you explain what you mean by "add 1 or 2 free public whitelists for your ip"?

Please stop fighting :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO: it is switched to "neutral" at talosintelligence for my server, so certainly a false positive, it happens according to my data center.

Whahaha we're not fighting, just exchanging tips to people also reading here. :)

Good to hear it's switched to neutral now for you. Good job!

Still am curious as to the answer of my question from Johannes. I really don't understand what he ment bij adding free public whitelists.

Ah, yes I see, I wrote garbage yesterday, sorry, somehow mixed it up :) Yes, sure, I mean NOT to appear on RBLs, and I mean to add my IP to some whitelists (not the other way around), as the free services from dnswl.org or the Spamhaus Whitelist spamhaus.org/whitelist/
Then there is another, but that costs money: whitelisted.org

To clarify, what would be needed is to add rbl lists, change the configuration of rspamd without going through the Web U ...
