Hi all,
Wondering if someone could shed some light this way.
Have a domain name setup with a dedicated IP address and want the emails to be sent from the IP. Which I believe I have managed to do and looks OK but when you do a mail-tester.com check it seems: HELO does not match SPF record.
I have set it up so the dedicated IP has a PTR record that points back to the domain name. But then the server is giving the HELO of the hostname of the directadmin box. Typically, for the incoming and outgoing I do use the hostname as it has an SSL cert on. Is that still OK to do? I'm used to cPanel and that is how it seems to work on that platform.
Or is there further config changes needed to be done here.
Cheers,
