Hi All,

I also need some urgent help / ideas in tackling an issue a clients server is having with sending to ANY btinternet.com email address even though they can send to any other email accounts.

I am aware of clearing the files: retry , retry.lockfile , wait-remote_smtp, wait-remote_smtp.lockfile in /var/spool/exim/db but this does not help.

The emails sent to @btinternet.com are all instantly returned with the below:

Are you sure you're not blocking outgoing connection to their mailserver?
Are you sure they're not blocking incoming connection from your server?

You should check that disabling your Firewall and trying using telnet to port 25 of their mailserver.

If disabling firewall fix the issue, you're blocking them, fix it.
If it still doenst work, they're probably blocking you for some reason.

Regards

Hello,

More information is needed, or we should see logs. The posted data does not give any idea on why they do not accept emails from your server.
