Server Load but 99% Idle

So I was digging for ways to find a load problem, but failed miserably.

Ultimately, I want to spread out the backup process over a longer period of time to lower the load on the box, but the load issue needs to be resolved first so I'm not just killing all backups.

It also wouldn't hurt to stop of these messages related to high load. I've looked for sometime trying to stop this. Anyone have any ideas or tips?

I thought you wanted to figure out how to reduce the load not just turn off the alarm.

And the screen shot you showed show the CPU at 99% idle NOT load. Load is a composite of several things.
