set up JUST an Email account???

I was wondering how to set up JUST email hosting in DA?

My client uses Volusions cart and there system Sux for email he is getting spam like a mofo. He wants me to set up email on my box since it is locked down from spoofing and all that jazz.

I was wondering how to do this?

create a new user and delete all A records other than mail and POP or do i keep the NS records too?

so my DNS will look like:
localhost A 127.0.0.1
mail A IP.address
POP A IP.Address
mail MX 10
su.com TXT "v=spf1 a mx ip4:209.200.7.20 ?all"

and that is it?

or is it to look like this?

su.com. NS ns1.dns.com.
su.com. NS ns2.dns.com.
localhost A 127.0.0.1
mail A IP.address
POP A IP.Address
mail MX 10
su.com TXT "v=spf1 a mx ip4:209.200.7.20 ?all"

As long as he doesn't change his pointers at his registrar it shouldn't matter right? Volusion just points to my IPs for Mail and POP?

So what do i do EXACTLY!!!!

DNS shouldn't matter unless you're hosting his DNS; you don't mention that so I presume you don't.

But your DNS records should match those hosted wherever he hosts his DNS.

well i just ran into a

Unrouteable address

issue

so am am changing my NS1-4 records to match his and should i set the www and all but mail to his IPs?

just found out that if you use the limiter feature it throws a undeliverable error too. so i am all cool.
