Good afternoon,

Considering brute force attacks are increasing on both WordPress and Joomla! installations, I was wondering what the best way to integrate a captcha for the admin areas is. Of course this would be on the server level, rather than installing a plugin/extension on all individual sites.

Regards,
William

Hello William,

We use mod_rewrite and a custom PHP script to show Google's reCaptcha for this. It can be installed server-wide.

At this moment the solution can be installed only on the servers of our customers, we don't disclose technical details on how it works, even though it's absolutely open-sourced.

Thus you and all other are welcome to become our client. ;)

No thanks, we're perfectly capable of in-house DA management.

Only Apache is supported yet. We don't support other web-servers as of now.
