WARNING! Tell the administrator to set the "SpamFilters_YourHop" variable.

O.K. I follow the instructions on SquireMail.
http://squirrelmail.org/wiki/SpamFilters

$SpamFilters_YourHop = 'by server1.mydomain.com';

But still does not work.

I did a reboot for good measure and double checked my real mail server is by checking the mail headers.

Now I am not sure if this is DirectAdmin related at all, but if anyone has come across this issue I sure would like some suggestions.

Never mind, I'm such a Dumb Ass.

Spent hours trying to fix the problem. 3:00AM went to bed.

Woke up this morning, looked at the problem and said "WOW, I need to change the value under the skin I just upload."

:eek:

I was trying to have Squirrelmail connect to a list of FREE Spam Sources to eliminate Spam for my customers 100%.

It seems to have done just that or dam close.

Seth,

Exactly what can't you get to work? Can you show us your line similar to:

$SpamFilters_YourHop = 'by server1.mydomain.com';

Spam Filter in Squirrelmail

Hi Jeff,
Sorry to trouble you mate (because I don't think this is actually a Direct Admin problem) but I'm a bit stuck:

I'm trying to find the correct file that contains this line ($SpamFilters_YourHop = ' '; ).

Do you know what the full path is (I'm trying to find the file via SSH).

Regards

Please do not double-post.

These are both old threads. I don't remember this issue at all, and I don't do my spam filtering in suirrelmail so I just don't know the answer off the top of my head.
